Sri Ramakrishna - Kannada

Sri Ramakrishna was a great yogi and spiritual teacher in the 19th century. He is assumed to be an avatar or incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He became a priest in Kali temple at Dakshineshwar at the age of 30. After so many efforts, he could see the Goddess Kali in the divine form.

He was not satisfied in seeing God only in Dvaita path. Therefore, he also practiced Tantra, Vaishnava Bhakti and Advaita. He also practiced many bhaava. He also realized God in Islam and Christianity paths and told the world that all religions help the beings to reach the same God.

He lightened up many lives with the divine knowledge of God. The world famous Swami Vivekananda was his disciple. Many Ashrams and Math were constructed in his name to spread the spiritual knowledge to the people in the country and outside.
